This trojan is a new version of the Back Orifice trojan. Back Orifice 2000 allows unauthorized remote access to Windows 95 and Windows 98 PCs via the Internet, enabling an intruder to read, modify and delete files on the infected PC. Network shared files, registry keys and Windows NT processes can also be affected. This type of program is categorized as a hacker tool. Back Orifice 2000 typically becomes installed on a computer when an e-mail attachment is executed. Opon execution, system Internet connections are opened and outside access is established.
